You’re Invited: An Outstanding Lenten Event for Women
When Roe was overturned in June of 2022, conversations in the pro-life and faith communities began to center around re-educating the culture on all thing’s life. 50 years of an egregious law in Roe v. Wade had reached it’s evil tenacles into all aspects of American society, preaching abortion and the lifestyles that support it, as “healthcare.”
Many know better than this. Through lived experiences and profound faith and understanding, the truth of human dignity reigns in many people’s hearts. There are just as many in our hurting world that are confused about the dignity of the human person. The wounds from the culture of death are many and cut deep in our society.
So, considering this, Cincinnati Right to Life, in partnership with Dayton Right to Life and St. Susanna Parish in Mason, founded A Pro-Life Gathering for H.E.R. Our mission is to create an event that allows women to HEAL, EMPOWER, and RECEIVE. –A Pro-Life Gathering for H.E.R.!
Our speaker line-up is outstanding once again with the Saturday event hosting two expert and engaging local speakers as well as nationally recognized presenter Rebekah Hagan, one of today`s youngest speakers on the issues of teenage pregnancy, abortion, and abortion pill reversal. Her story has been shared by local and national media, as well as religious and secular organizations, including Vice News HBO, Focus On The Family, Students For Life, Live Action, Heartbeat International, Epoch Times, and World Magazine.
Donna Murphy from Heaven’s Gain Ministries shares, through her own experience, the dignity of grieving miscarriage loss and honoring all pre-born children as part of the pro-life voice. With Roe overturned and Issue 1 in Ohio, Donna shares a path forward of respecting even the tiniest pre-born babies.
Emily Macke has led formation and education opportunities for teenagers, young adults, and adults from a variety of backgrounds. Emily is a Lecturer in Moral Theology at Mt. St. Mary’s Seminary and an expert on presenting Pope St. John Paull II’s teachings on Christian Anthropology as it relates to life issues. Emily has experience in serving women in unexpected pregnancies and the foundation of Theology of the Body being an antidote for our hurting world.
All three presenters will bless us on this Lenten Saturday which for those that want to begin their day with Mass and even have the opportunity for confession during lunch. Plenty of coffee will be served and time for prayer and reflection as well.
We hope you can join us on Saturday February 24, 2023 at St. Susanna in Mason.
