What the Media isn’t Going to Tell You About Kamala Harris’ Record on Abortion

The media’s love affair with Vice President Kamala Harris has begun in earnest. No sooner did the media discover their professionalism in asking hard questions of President Joe Biden’s mental competence did they pivot to the usual puffery that has plagued the Presidential press corps since Biden took office in 2021.
“The internet has entered its Kamala Harris ‘coconut tree’ era,” read one from NBC News.
“‘Kamala IS brat’: Harris campaign goes lime-green to embrace the meme of the summer” read another from the Guardian.
“Kamala Harris’s Presidential Bid Is Getting a Pop Music Rollout Online” read another from the New York Times.
It wouldn’t be a stretch to say that we’d be holding our breath for a long time waiting for the press to go deeper into the REAL Kamala Harris, much like they have with Biden in the last several weeks.
So, Students for Life Action (SFLAction) decided to go down memory lane and highlight what the media sadly won’t: the actions and path of the most radically pro-abortion Presidential candidate in American history.
Targeted Harassment of Pro-Life Activists in California
During her time as Attorney General of California, Harris engaged in a sustained campaign against pro-life activist David Daleiden for his undercover videos noting that her campaign contributor, Planned Parenthood, was allegedly and illegally selling aborted baby body parts.
This campaign of Daleiden’s continued well into the future, and into Pennsylvania, where his work also uncovered barbaric science experiments on babies at the University of Pittsburgh (which we called out in 2021.)

However, Harris in turn met with Planned Parenthood and authorized armed men to go into his home. This led to charges of conflict of interest during her Senate campaign, including a campaign from numerous pro-life groups for her to suspend that campaign because of her alleged corruption. Thankfully, in time, Daleiden sued Sen. Harris.

Anti Pro-Life and Catholic Bias
In 2020, SFLAction President Kristan Hawkins penned an op-ed in USA Today showcasing the prejudice that then Democrat Vice Presidential nominee Harris expressed against pro-life Catholics: “Last year, Harris introduced the Do No Harm Act in the U.S. Senate, which would water down the federal 1993 Religious Freedom Restoration Act, among other laws designed to protect people of faith. In effect, that change would empower governmental authorities to force people of faith to comply with laws they find morally objectionable, such as pay for or perform abortions in health care if they receive some state or federal funding.”

What’s more, while California’s Attorney General, she also supported legislation that would have forced pregnancy resource centers to refer for abortions – a law that was struck down as unconstitutional at the U.S. Supreme Court. Despite this, Harris has continued to champion nearly every effort to shut down these critically important resource centers for women.
An Apologist for Limitless Abortion
Harris, like many other Democrats, also supports limitless abortion – though she would swear up and down she doesn’t. Unfortunately for her, we have the receipts.
When interviewed by CBS in 2023, Harris refused to name a single limit on abortion she would support.
“No, no, no, no, no. Let me be very clear,” Harris pushed back.
“That’s, that was in the Women’s Health Protection Act that the White House also endorsed—” Brennan explained.
Harris concluded, “Let me be very clear. From day one, the president has been clear, I have been clear. We need to put back the protections that are in Roe v. Wade into law. Since the Supreme Court took it, Congress has the power and ability to pass legislation to put those protections back in law and Joe Biden will sign that bill. So, that is what we want.”
Of course, Harris is lying through her teeth. During her term as senator, Harris co-sponsored legislation to ban state-level restrictions on abortion. And the Biden-Harris Administration’s top healthcare policy priority, the Women’s Health Protection Act, would allow abortions to be conducted up until birth nationwide without any ability for the states to push back.
The First Sitting Vice President to Campaign at an Abortion Business
The Vice President made history by being the first to ever visit an abortion facility. And given her identity as a woman of color and Planned Parenthood’s own history as the brainchild of a racist eugenicist that hated African Americans, it’s a terrible historical moment.
As we noted previosly. because of Planned Parenthood, the percentage of the American population that is African American has remained at nearly 13% for many years, which equals no meaningful population growth over a period of five decades.
But evidently, none of that matters to Vice President Harris.

But the problems go even beyond her pro-abortion extremism:
- Harris has had a nearly “perfect” 100% staff turnover rate during her three years as Vice President.
- Her compassion for terrorists might get her more street cred with Youth Voters.
- She has a penchant for weird, awkward, or downright stupid word salads. Remember Harris’ Coconut Tree story? It’s taken TikTok by storm.
- Her time in California helped create the crime dystopia that we see today on the news. Remember that Harris helped strip legal protections for victims of crime in California, to her backing of a controversial 2014 California law that some blame for unleashing rampant crime across the state.
- Leading to the crime wave? At FOX: Kamala Harris’ record as prosecutor in California spells ‘trouble’ for presidential campaign: lawyer. Critics of potential presidential nominee Harris are calling attention to it.
- As for the start of her career? Hardly a feminist icon – getting your first job by engaging in an alleged affair with a separated man twice your age is hardly a feminist folk story.
To borrow her inane and nonsensical phrase – if we were to be unburdened by what’s come before, let’s consider that a future Harris administration would be wildly radical and go even further than even Biden. According to a recent article in Politico, “as a presidential candidate in 2019, Harris proposed going further than Roe by giving the Justice Department enhanced oversight over states’ abortion laws.”
And we should believe her – her own record proves that she’s dead serious about the issue of abortion and making it as widely available as possible.
