She Wins!
Wednesday March 18th House Bill 247, the She Wins Act, moved out of the Ohio House Health Committee and to full consideration by the Ohio House. The She Wins bill is sponsored by Representatives Odioso and Williams and would impose common sense reforms which would protect women from being coerced into abortion and provide them information to make an informed decision regarding themselves and their unborn child.
Cincinnati attorney Brian Hurley has been a decade long advocate for this legislation, tirelessly working to bring this bill before the Ohio Legislature. It is a huge step forward to protect women by making sure they are fully informed of the consequences, both physically and emotionally, of the abortion procedure.
