Oldest Abortion Facility in Minnesota Closes and more HOPEFUL News
Minnesota, governed by abortion champion VP candidate Tim Walz, has no gestational limits on abortion.
After an estimated five decades of committing abortions and an estimated toll of more than 60,000 babies killed, the Robbinsdale Clinic (located in a Minneapolis suburb) has closed its doors! An internet company has a purchase agreement with the owner/abortionist June Fahrmann and has plans to demolish the building for a new data center, contingent upon final approval from the City of Robbinsdale which will most likely be in early February. All indications are that the killing has ceased there.
“We are very grateful to God that this blight in the city of Robbinsdale and, indeed, the whole of Minnesota is now closed,” said Brian Gibson, CEO of Pro-Life Action Ministries. “So many lives have been lost at this location. So many women harmed. And yet, so many babies’ lives have been saved and so many families helped by our persistent presence, offering alternatives to abortion, throughout the decades.” FULL STORY
Cincinnati Right to Life shares this great news as a story of HOPE.
In Minnesota, a state where abortion is enshrined in their constitution, an abortion facility was shut down through sidewalk presence and the presence of a right to life office in proximity. Many years of dedicated prayer and a presence in front of this business played a large role in this facility’s closure.
In a recent news story, it was reported that since the fall of Roe in 2022, 76 clinics have shuttered and the initial surge of donations for abortion clinics is now falling short. “Of the 11 clinics that shuttered in the last year, eight were located in states with strong abortion protections.”
There is more hopeful news for pro-lifers as Ed Martin, a leader of American Life League (ALL) has been appointed to serve as the chief of staff for Trump’s Office of Management and Budget. As shared by LifeSiteNews, in his role at ALL, Ed has helped raise awareness about Planned Parenthood, spoken to groups about the need to defund this organization, and helped create documents about the ubiquity of the abortion pill and about the compensation of its CEOs. Ed fervently believes in the mission of defunding PP, especially as the organization has added even more nefarious practices to its repertoire. This is evident in its shift from abortion in brick-and-mortar facilities to abortion via pills.
The article went on to share: Ed explains that the “OMB is a unique place since it focuses on the budget of the federal government as well as on management of the resources.” In this position, he will be able to “examine all federal spending including Planned Parenthood.” Ed’s position will give pro-lifers the greatest opportunity in our history to do this, and STOPP is hoping to finally see one of its goals come to fruition.
It’s a goal that all pro-lifers should strive for. If we want a society where all human beings are respected and cherished – from creation until natural death – we must elect leaders with this goal in mind. And then we must hold them to their promises. We seem to have a unique opportunity regarding the nation’s budget with this new Trump administration, and we can only hope and pray that Trump will adhere to his promises.
Ed is the kind of leader we need in D.C., and we are excited that he will be prioritizing the defunding of Planned Parenthood and helping Trump and other pro-life leaders see through the lies that PP tells the public. Abortion is not “healthcare.” Our country does not need PP. And we hope that soon the entire country will become aware of this.
