Ohio’s New Abortion Dashboard Reveals Startling Numbers

When Governor Mike DeWine signed the state budget this summer, one of the included provisions was an update to Ohio’s abortion reporting system. This new online dashboard—launched in September—offers monthly abortion data, providing greater transparency into what is happening in our communities.
According to the most recent numbers, published in mid-October, 429 abortions were committed in Hamilton County in September 2025. If we can rely on these numbers—reported by the abortion industry itself—that means more than 105 abortions per week, or about 26 each day. Every hour, four precious babies lost their lives inside the massive abortion facility on Auburn Avenue.
Hamilton County now has the second-highest number of abortions in the state, behind only Cuyahoga County. Sadly, this comes as no surprise to Cincinnati Right to Life. Our team and volunteers regularly witness out-of-state cars filling the driveway and parking lot of this for-profit business, as mothers are drawn in from across the region.
Yet even in the face of this reality, there is hope. Our faithful sidewalk advocates continue to stand in love outside this facility of death, offering truth, compassion, and life to all who will listen. Many cars have turned away before entering, and mothers have been guided to one of the outstanding pregnancy centers in our city—places where real help, hope, and healing await. Each “turn-away” represents a life spared and a mother spared from untold pain.
These numbers are heartbreaking. But they remind us of our mission and calling. We can—and must—do better. Together, we can be an extension of love and mercy to mothers in crisis, offering hope, support, and life-giving alternatives.
Let’s continue to pray, to act, and to speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves.
