Merry Christmas – miracles in Cincinnati!

Cincinnati Right to Life wishes you a very
Merry Christmas!

For a child is born to us, a son is given us;
      upon his shoulder dominion rests.
   They name him Wonder-Counselor, God-Hero,
      Father-Forever, Prince of Peace.
   His dominion is vast
      and forever peaceful,
from David’s throne, and over his kingdom,
      which he confirms and sustains
   by judgment and justice,
      both now and forever.
The zeal of the LORD of hosts will do this!

Isaiah 9: 5-7

Christmas Joy!

As the world pauses to celebrate the birth of the Savior, Cincinnati Right to Life gives thanks in a very special way this year!

The abortion tragedy in Ohio continues, and weekly, hundreds (over 600) of women drive into the local Cincinnati abortion facility to end the
lives of their preborn children.

As our faithful supporters know, with the passage of Issue 1 in 2023, CRTL trained and deployed sidewalk advocates over 32 hours weekly in
front of Planned Parenthood.
(Hopefully soon, over 40 hours will be covered.)
Some days there are many conversations with moms seeking abortion,
and some days very few.

We have some JOYFUL news from last week, as two babies were confirmed SAVED from the clutches of the abortionists on Auburn Ave. These children continue to grow in peace and warmth in their mother’s wombs, rather than have been violently dismembered and carted off as medical waste and disposed of like common trash.
Their hearts beat!

Please pray for babies and moms and please pray for our advocates who stand faithfully day after day, offering truth and love.

One mom had stopped to speak to the advocate at the gate, sharing with the compassionate advocate that other children were at home,
but mom was overwhelmed by a growing family.
The advocate gave her a card that offers hope and includes directions
to four different local pregnancy centers and offered other wisdom too.

The brief but sincere interaction was enough for the mom to enter the killing facility, but then leave immediately. Mom stopped at the exit and shared with the advocate positioned there, while waving the card, “This is what I am choosing.”
Praise be to God!

Another mom bravely chose life after a conversation with Adam, our staff member dedicated to managing the program and training volunteers.
This mom had visited a pregnancy center and had an ultrasound, but because of relationship difficulties and other circumstances,
was certain she should still have an abortion.
(The culture of death is so strong, it FOOLS wise women.)
A five-minute conversation, filled with understanding and truth, led the mom to turn away and visit another pregnancy center for continued care.
Mom is THRILLED that someone was there to stop her from making
the biggest mistake of her life.

Each life spared from abortion is a miracle, a difference maker, a human person with a plan and a purpose made in the image of God.
To Planned Parenthood, that child living is lost revenue, the mom, a lost customer.

Cincinnati Right to Life has expanded our presence of advocacy.
We still speak for the unborn in Washington and we still speak
for the unborn in Columbus.
But right now, with the abortion industry bearing down on Ohio, having made the Buckeye State an abortion travel destination,
we have been called to increase and speak on the sidewalk too.
(In Cincinnati, this is even worse with having the southern most killing facility in the Midwest.)
These are not protests, but a pastoral presence where LIVES ARE SAVED.
Because of the change in Ohio, our organization has also had to change and grow.

New season, new tactics.

Merry Christmas, we wouldn’t be here as a strong voice for life without you!
