Congressman promotes abortion right here in Cincinnati

Greg Landsman Promotes Abortion at
Planned Parenthood on Auburn Avenue

Last week, Congressman Greg Landsman (D-OH-1) held a press conference inside Planned Parenthood’s Auburn Avenue facility—the same business that profits from ending thousands of preborn lives in Ohio each year. Instead of supporting life-affirming care for women and families, Landsman chose to promote the nation’s largest abortion vendor.

Meanwhile, Planned Parenthood is still grieving the loss of its Hamilton and Springfield locations, which recently closed thanks to the defunding provisions in the “One Big Beautiful Bill.” These closures mark a major victory for life in Ohio, as taxpayer dollars are no longer being used to prop up abortion referral centers. Cincinnati Right to Life will continue to expose the truth and stand for every human life.

Cincinnati Right to Life called both the numbers still listed for these two closed Planned Parenthood locations, and the calls were forwarded to the Auburn Avenue facility that has become one of the busiest (if not THE busiest) abortion facilities in the Midwest.

After the press conference, Laura Strietmann, Executive Director of CRTL shared, “Cincinnati Right to Life celebrates the closure of the Southwest Ohio Planned Parenthood referral centers, which played a direct role in facilitating abortions; as abortion tourism surges following its enshrinement in Ohio’s Constitution, it is more critical than ever that Ohioans stop funding the destruction of life in our state.”

It is also important to note that during the press conference, members of the Cincinnati Right to Life community were serving as sidewalk advocates in front of Planned Parenthood. During the press conference, all cars entering the abortion business, on a very busy abortion day, were from out of state. There were several conversations and even a confirmed turn away where life was chosen! So, while Congressman Landsman touted abortion as healthcare, lives were spared, lives were saved, mothers and fathers were brave and strong and realized their child in the womb deserved to live! All glory to God.

In encouraging news, two candidates have already stepped forward to challenge Landsman in November 2026. Eric Conroy, an Air Force veteran, Westside Republican and Elder High School graduate, and Dr. Steven Erbeck, an Eastside dentist and Mason High School graduate, have both announced their candidacies. We are just getting to know them, but we look forward to the possibility of a Congressman who would never model himself after Kamala Harris or host a press conference inside our nation’s largest preborn child–killing business.

Our community must stay active and engaged in the fight for life right here at home, where tragically, Cincinnati is a vacation destination for the destruction of pre-born life and our elected member of Congress celebrates the death that takes place inside the business on Auburn Avenue.
