This bill, known as the Baby Olivia Act, requires public schools in Ohio to include specific instruction about human growth and development for students in grades five through twelve. The bill mandates that schools must incorporate two key video components into their curriculum: a high-definition ultrasound video at least three minutes long showing early fetal development of organs, and the “meet baby Olivia” video (or a similar video) demonstrating fertilization and human development stages from conception to birth.
