Honoring Our Veterans: Guardians of Freedom and the Sanctity of Life
Today and every day, we pause to thank the brave men and women who have served our nation — our veterans. Their courage, sacrifice, and steadfast devotion have safeguarded the freedoms that define the American spirit. Because of them, generations have lived with the blessings of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
Our veterans stood ready to defend our homeland, often far from their own homes and families, so that others could live safely and freely on American soil. Their service reminds us that freedom is never free — it is earned and preserved through courage, sacrifice, and faith.

Without their sacrifice, we would not have the opportunity to proclaim our belief that all men are created equal — born and unborn — each endowed by our Creator with the right to life. Their defense of liberty allows us to continue the mission of protecting the most vulnerable among us, from conception to natural death.
As we work in our own communities to protect life and uphold the values that make our nation strong, we do so on the very soil secured by their bravery. Let us pray for our veterans, honor their legacy, and thank each one for their part in keeping America free.
May God bless our veterans, their families, and this great nation they have served so faithfully.
