Midpoint Near and Open Hours; Your Impressions And Interactions, Please; and Important Events
Next Monday, October 14, is the twentieth day of this fall’s campaign – the Midpoint (see UPCOMING EVENTS below). If you have been considering signing up to come to the sidewalk to pray, now’s the time. We’d love to see the sidewalk filled with prayer each hour of the day. At a minimum, we would like to have two people present each hour daily from 7am to 7pm.
We also still have several hours during some of the upcoming days in need of your peaceful, prayerful witness to the community and those entering Planned Parenthood. Ask a friend or family member (the more the better) to come with you. We need each of you to go to www.40daysforlife.com/cincinnati to register if you’ve not already done so and sign up to help cover open hours or to join other participants. In addition, we are blessed to have Adam Schad and John Beckstedt recruiting men to cover the night hours from 7pm to7am, too. (Contact aschad@cincinnatirighttolife.org)
If you receive Shawn Carney’s daily national updates, you know that photos play an important part. We would also like to feature here weekly your Cincinnati photos of local participants. Send them to Mary above with your comments or just send any thoughts or interactions you have while on the sidewalk.
UPCOMING EVENTS – Wednesday, October 16 – 9 to 10am in front of Planned Parenthood – Join us to hear Abby Johnson, author of the book UNPLANNED, on which the film was based. No sign up necessary for this hour.
Friday, October 18 – 7 to 8pm in front of Planned Parenthood – Join us for our Midpoint Group Prayer Hour to thank God for the blessings received during the first half of the campaign and ask for the success of the remainder of the campaign. No sign up necessary for this hour.
