Tears of Joy in Clifton

We all need good news!

Today, in this end of summer heat wave, cars were streaming into Clifton’s Planned Parenthood as if it were a Chick-fil-A drive-through, not like a destination where mothers end the lives of their babies. The almost one-hundred-degree heat index in Southwest Ohio did not stop Cincinnati Right to Life’s trained Sidewalk Advocates from manning their posts outside the mid-west’s southernmost pre-born child execution center. We praise God and give thanks to the dedicated staff and volunteers for being resilient signs of life and bearers of truth and help at the gate for all entering the dark building of death on Auburn Ave.

Today alone there were three confirmed “turn-aways” and an uncounted number of meaningful connections and conversations with moms of preborn babies. (There were so many, the team stopped counting!) Without too many details, one situation involved tears of joy and even the mom just about jumping out of her car to hug the advocates who presented the truth about her baby and the harm of abortion for women. All moms met were sent to local pregnancy centers for the support they need!

There is so much bad news about Ohio and abortion, including this article in Cincinnati.com, sent to us this morning from a devoted supporter. After much emailing back and forth, the author Dan Horn, thankfully, decided to edit the story and add remarks from Cincinnati Right to Life. Of course, the Planned Parenthood language rubrics were used in the piece celebrating the expansion of abortion in Cincinnati. (See “clinic” “provider” “services”) We are grateful for at least a mention.

Please pray for our volunteers and staff working to stop women from a horrendous and devastating decision. Each day, our workers are counting the traffic and tracking the states of the cars entering Planned Parenthood. Our workers at the gates in Clifton are life-savers and miracle-workers. They are smile makers too!
