Weekly Update – Week Four

Half Way Point – Help Us Swell Our Numbers For The Rest Of The Campaign

If you missed it, our Cincinnati campaign was featured in Shawn Carney’s March 3 daily update. If you are registered on our Cincinnati website, but don’t receive Shawn’s updates, it’s because you need to check the box at the bottom of your registration that says “Allow campaign leaders to email me.” If you are on this email list but are not registered on our Cincinnati website, I encourage you to do so.

Shawn’s updates are short, but various 40 Days for Life locations around the world are featured daily and it’s such an encouragement to see how other locations are carrying out the 40 Days for Life campaigns. Perhaps it will be an incentive for you to pray for all the campaigns around the world in addition to our own local campaign. And if you have not yet taken part in our campaign or it’s been a while since you have, please consider joining us on the sidewalk. One person each hour is not enough. We need you.

PLEASE JOIN US – Friday, March 13, 7pm – Group prayer hour at Planned Parenthood to mark the midpoint of this campaign. No sign up necessary for this hour. It is one of the few times when we can meet as a group to pray during the campaign.

Tuesday, March 24, 6:30pm – We have the privilege of hosting three members of the national 40 Days for Life headquarters team who are visiting locations in Ohio and beyond. Heather Gardner, 40 Days for Life 365 coordinator, Dr. Haywood Robinson, former abortionist and Director of Medical Affairs and Education and Kristi Hofferber, Campaign Strategist. Tell everyone you know and join us for this rare opportunity to hear from leaders of 40 Days for Life right here in our city! Print copies of the flyer from the RESOURCES list on our website.

Sunday, March 29, 2:00pm – Closing Prayer Hour of Thanksgiving – See LOCAL EVENTS on our website for details.

So have you signed up to cover open vigil hours yet? Go to www.40daysforlife.com/cincinnati and register if you have not already (you don’t have to re-register each campaign). There is no limit to the number of people who can cover any hour. If you are new to public prayer, sign up when you see a number “1” on an hour when you can come to pray so you know that you will not be on the sidewalk alone.

If you need help in signing up, download “ Volunteer Website Tutorial” from the RESOURCES list on the right of our webpage, or contact me. – We need all of you.

Known churches and group affiliations of our participants – Please let me know if your affiliation is not listed (even if you are coming as an individual and not with a church/group).
