Weekly Update – Week Four
BABY SAVED! DEFUND PLANNED PARENTHOOD RALLY
Last Wednesday, March 19, on the Solemnity of St. Joseph, while parishioners from St. Catherine of Siena in Ft. Thomas, Kentucky, were praying, a baby was saved! Here are excerpts from two texts sent to me by Carol, the leader of the parish participation:
“I thought I’d share a couple of texts I got from the volunteers who were praying when the save occurred on our day. From Kim: ‘Exciting news to share … praise God! Joyce and I were at PP yesterday and one of the other sidewalk advocates talked to a couple as they were driving into PP. They came out about 20 minutes later and said that they had a change of heart and they are keeping their child!! God is good.’”
“And from Joyce: ‘It was one of the most exciting days of my life, Carol, to see the couple change their mind. God performed a miracle that day and we were fortunate to witness it.’”
And last Friday I got a call from another lady who is the leader of her parish family’s participation. She was inspired to stop and pray even though it was in addition to the day she is organizing for her group. She was rewarded to see a possible save. She didn’t see the car pull into PP, but saw it leave. Two women were in the front seat and a young woman was in the back. She was smiling as she held up an ultrasound photo to the window.
Thank you, God, for showing us the good that comes from our sacrifices of time and convenience to come to the sidewalk to pray, whether in sun or wind or rain!
