Weekly Update – Week Five

Big Events Next Week and Closing Day – National Team Visit, Exodus Day & Closing Day Prayer Hour of Thanksgiving

Tuesday, March 24, 6:30pm at Planned Parenthood- National Team Visit –We have the privilege of hosting three members of the national 40 Days for Life headquarters team who are visiting locations in Ohio and beyond. Heather Gardner, 40 Days for Life 365 coordinator, Dr. Haywood Robinson, former abortionist and Director of Medical Affairs and Education and Kristi Hofferber, Campaign Strategist. Tell everyone you know and join us for this rare opportunity to hear from leaders of 40 Days for Life right here in our city! Print copies of the flyer from the RESOURCES list on our website.

Friday, March 27 – Exodus Day. This is the day each year when Abby Johnson’s organization, And Then There Were None, encourages abortion workers to walk out together. Here is a post by Abby: “March 27 is Exodus and I hope to see you on the sidewalk. On that day, we’re asking abortion workers across the country to walk out together. If you’re planning to be on the sidewalk, show up early, show up prayerfully, and show up ready to be helpful. You might be the first safe person someone has seen all day. If an abortion worker steps out and needs help, point them straight to @attwnministry. We can help with next steps, support, and a real way forward.

Please go to exodusnow.com (http://exodusnow.com/) and print our signs and flyers so you have them in hand and can share them with your local team. And if you’re an abortion worker reading this and you’ve been thinking about quitting, please hear me: you are not alone and you are not trapped. We are here for you. On Exodus Day, no one walks out alone.

Sunday, March 29, 2:00pm – Closing Prayer Hour of Thanksgiving – Procession to Planned Parenthood starting at Holy Name Church Parking Lot – Procession to Planned Parenthood while praying the Way of the Cross for Victims of Abortion and other prayers in thanksgiving for a successful campaign. See LOCAL EVENTS on our website for details.

So have you signed up to add to our numbers on the sidewalk yet? Let’s end the Lenten campaign with full sidewalks. Go to www.40daysforlife.com/cincinnati and register if you have not already (you don’t have to re-register each campaign) and sign up for prayer hours. There is no limit to the number of people who can cover any hour. If you are new to public prayer, sign up when you see a number “1” or more on an hour when you can come to pray so you know that you will not be on the sidewalk alone.

If you need help in signing up, download “ Volunteer Website Tutorial” from the RESOURCES list on the right of our webpage, or contact me. – We need all of you.

Known churches and group affiliations of our participants – Please let me know if your affiliation is not listed (even if you are coming as an individual and not with a church/group).
