Weekly Update – Week Five

Still Time to Join the Prayer & Closing Prayer Event

Have you been to the sidewalk to pray yet this campaign? If not, and you are able to carve out time this week or next before the end of the campaign, that would be wonderful. Remember, just because you look at the calendar and see that the hour you planned on coming shows a “1” or “2,” that doesn’t mean you can’t also come to pray. I know when I’m the only person signed up for an hour of prayer and someone else shows up, it’s a blessing. And when more people are present, we are a more visible witness to passersby and those entering Planned Parenthood.

If you need some incentive to sacrifice time and convenience to come to the sidewalk to pray, here are some words to assure you that your efforts are not in vain:

“In a world and a Church sincerely devoted to doing many good works that could bring about peace, we might sometimes overlook the fact that the greatest work of all is prayer. We dare not abandon the good works, but let us remember that peace is ultimately God’s desire and God’s achievement: Let us pray earnestly, ‘Thy will be done’” (Editor – Magnificat, September 2025)

“Rejoice always, pray without ceasing.” – Thessalonians 5:16-18

IMPORTANT – SAVE THE DATE: Sunday, November 2, 6:30PM

Ramona Trevino at Closing Prayer Event

Please join us in welcoming 40 Days for Life Outreach Director, Ramona Trevino, to our Closing Prayer Event. Ramona is a former Planned Parenthood manager and her experience is invaluable in helping us know how to properly approach those working the abortion industry and the clients. Meet at Holy Name Church, 2422 Auburn Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45219 (2 blocks from Planned Parenthood). Bring your families, friends, and fellow church members to help us close another successful 40 Days for Life campaign.

Feel free to use the paragraph above as a bulletin announcement.
