Weekly Update – Week Two

SEND YOUR STORIES OR BLESSINGS FROM THE SIDEWALK

We are now at Day 10 of the spring campaign and all our hours through tomorrow, day and night, have been committed to by at least one vigil participant. Thank you to all who have signed up for our peaceful, public prayer so far. To keep on top of which hours are still in need of your coverage, check through the online calendar at our website, or check out either the daytime or nighttime spreadsheets listed in the RESOURCES list at the right side of the website. I’m always happy to answer your questions or help you sign up too.

The spreadsheets are updated continuously with the latest sign up additions. We still have about 70 daytime and a few nighttime prayer hours in need of coverage. We hope for at least two people per hour, but more participants than the minimum are always welcome.

By the way, the 40 Days for Life headquarters team wants to keep up with what is happening at our vigil sites. They are always in need of stories, comments, reports of conversations you might have with workers or clients, positive or negative (no names or specific details included), or your impressions while on the sidewalk that can be used in Shawn Carney’s daily updates. Any experiences or blessings, big or small, that you would like to share with our local pro-lifers and those throughout the world, are welcome. During this marathon of prayer and witness, they help motivate and support us in our sacrifices of time and convenience to bring the love of Christ to those in most need. Send your reports to me and I’ll forward them to the national team. Photos of your prayer group, whether posed or not, are also welcome.

MIDPOINT REMINDER – Friday, March 21 at 7:00PM

We will meet at Planned Parenthood for our Midpoint Prayer Hour. Join us for this group hour of prayer and be encouraged to continue your weekly public prayer witness in front of Planned Parenthood and finish the second half of the campaign strong! For this hour there is no sign up necessary. It is one of the few opportunities during the campaign when we can gather as one to pray for all of the intentions of the campaign.

Questions? Contact Mary Clark or go to our website, www.40daysforlife.com/cincinnati, to sign up to pray and to see our RESOURCES list for downloadable prayers, pregnancy centers lists and other information on our campaign.
