Right to Life of Greater Cincinnati has supported Ohio’s human heartbeat protection strategy since efforts began in 2011. In the years since, these efforts have educated many on the true nature of abortion’s toll on women, men, and their unborn children. In 2016, the Heartbeat Bill passed the Ohio House and Senate, but was ultimately vetoed by Governor Kasich.
If this bill passes the Ohio House tomorrow, it will then go through Senate hearings. After that the Ohio Senate will vote on it. If passed, it will go to the Governor’s desk for a signature.
Establishing human heartbeat protections in Ohio is a historic opportunity for those committed to the cause of life. The baby has a heartbeat–the baby may not be aborted! Not in Ohio! Please pray for the passage of this bill – that more babies’ lives will be saved in our state!
