Vote for LIFE!
Justice Kavanaugh’s hearing was about ABORTION.
And so is the General Election in November.
October 10, 2018 (Cincinnati, OH): The circus that was the nomination and appointment of now Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh exhibited clearly that it was all about abortion. Planned Parenthood’s website contains dozens of calls to action to ‘stop Kavanaugh’. They launched a #DearSenators campaign and compiled a video of voicemails from women across the country touting their support for Roe v. Wade. Abortion advocates fear that Justice Kavanaugh’s vote will overturn Roe v. Wade and Doe v. Bolton. And, pro-lifers are hopeful that with Justice Kavanaugh, the truth will conquer and the Supreme Court will ultimately rule that abortion is not a right provided by the Constitution of the United States.
The tight vote to confirm Justice Kavanaugh shows us the importance of even one vote and the critical need to build a pro-life majority in the Senate. While we have a Republican majority in the Senate, we do not necessarily have a pro-life one.
To that end, Cincinnati Right to Life proudly endorses Jim Renacci for U.S. Senate. We are confident that Jim will protect life at every stage. His official campaign website says this about him: “Guided by faith, Jim Renacci knows every life is a gift that must be protected at every stage. Jim Renacci is a pro-life leader who has proudly earned a 100% Right to Life voting record. Ohio families can count on Jim to continue fighting for the unborn as our next U.S. Senator.”

|Why do I need to vote in this election?
It is typical for the party that has control in the White House to lose seats in the first election after the Presidential election. If liberals gain control of the Senate, we will lose momentum we have made in appointing judges who will protect life, family, and religious liberty. As we know well, judicial appointments to the Supreme Court and the circuit courts have long-lasting consequences. Furthermore, if we lose the pro-life majority in the House of Representatives, our progress will stall and ultimately, more babies will die.
