To Feature Amazing Speaker Duo & Local Music Sensation
Jim Bradford & HK Derryberry Present
My Unlikely Friendship With the Boy Who Remembers Everything
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE, September 5, 2017 (Cincinnati, OH) – Cincinnati Right to Life’s Evening for Life will again bring together the Greater Cincinnati Pro-Life Community to address countercultural efforts on behalf of vulnerable human beings: Thursday, October 12, 2017, at the Sharonville Convention Center, 11355 Chester Rd., Cincinnati 45246; social 5:30 p.m., dinner 6:30 p.m.
This popular pro-life gala will feature emcee Anna Mitchell of Sacred Heart Radio, speakers Jim Bradford and HK Derryberry, plus musical inspiration by the Northern Kentucky Brotherhood Singers:
According to medical science, HK Derryberry should never have survived. Born July 8, 1990 this two-pound baby boy arrived three months premature due to a single-car crash that took his mother’s life. Because of the accident and his prematurity, he was born blind, with cerebral palsy and countless other medical problems. HK’s life was forever changed in 1999 when he unexpectedly met Jim Bradford, and thus began a remarkable story of friendship and triumph.
The Northern Kentucky Brotherhood Singers is a jubilee-style, a cappella, gospel quartet from Covington, KY. Since its beginning 30 years ago, this community-based quintet has sung at sacred music events, but has expanded to a global audience with both spiritual and secular songs. Their rich and complex music rises from a shared inner-city experience that stresses faith, learning and communicative arts.
Reservations are $50 per person; $35 for students. Reservations and/or sponsor information is available at CincinnatiRightToLife.org or call 513/728-7870. (Sponsors receive program advertising, special table seating, and more.)
