Hundreds Stand for Planned Parenthood Defunding & Investigation
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE, July 29, 2015 (Cincinnati, OH): Over 475 pro-life women, men, and children participated in Cincinnati’s “Women’s Betrayed” rally Tuesday, July 28th, standing on both sides of the street in front of Planned Parenthood of Southwest Ohio’s abortion headquarters on Auburn Ave. in Cincinnati, while about 60 Planned Parenthood people in pink stood behind the fence.
THANK YOU to all who gave public, peaceful, prayerful witness to the beautiful gift of human life!
Cincinnati’s Women Betrayed rally was held in conjunction with Women Betrayed rallies conducted simultaneously in over 60 other cities across the nation. Speakers and participants stood for investigation and defunding of the nation’s largest abortion provider, Planned Parenthood, since the release of shocking videos featuring Planned Parenthood medical directors discussing the sale of body parts of aborted babies.

In the wake of the video evidence of human body part trafficking, Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine has launched an investigation of Planned Parenthood’s abortion-providing affiliates in the state, which includes this Cincinnati facility.
At Ohio’s Columbus Women Betrayed rally, State Representative Bill Patmon (D-Cleveland) announced introduction of legislation to de-fund Planned Parenthood in Ohio. In fiscal year 2013-2014, Planned Parenthood received $1.3 million in taxpayer subsidies in the state of Ohio. Federally, the abortion chain received over $500 million.
