FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE, June 23, 2015 (Cincinnati, OH): William May, founder and president of the Catholics for the Common Good Institute and founder of the Marriage Reality Movement will speak Sunday, July 19, 7-8:30 pm at the Bartlett Center at the Athenaeum, 6616 Beechmont Ave., Cincinnati OH 45230.
Mr. Mays’ presentation will address Taking Back Marriage for Our Children and Families.
The event is free and open to the public. It is co-sponsored by the Athenaeum, The St. James Project, and the Archdiocese of Cincinnati Family and Respect Life Office.
William May is the author of Getting the Marriage Conversation Right, a guide for effective dialogue, and appeared in the EWTN six-part miniseries, “Evangelizing the Culture for Marriage and Family.” He is a sought after speaker on marriage, family, and evangelization of culture.
In 2008, Mr. May and the Catholics for the Common Good Institute were asked by the California Catholic Conference to lead Catholics for Protect Marriage, the lay Catholic response to the Proposition 8 effort that successfully restored the definition of marriage between a man and a woman in California.
He has appeared on Good Morning America, The News Hour, ABC, CBS, NBC, PBS, BBC, Fox News Channel, CNN, NPR, EWTN Radio, Immaculate Heart Radio, Radio Guadalupe, Relevant Radio, and the Catholic Channel. He has been a guest on Catholic Answers Live, Kresta in the Afternoon, and many other programs.
