To Further Pro-Life Initiatives & Goals
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE, June 3, 2015 (Cincinnati, OH): Right to Life of Greater Cincinnati and Cleveland Right to Life are pleased to announce that Barry Sheets is now serving as official legislative consultant in Columbus and beyond to further the organizations’ pro-life initiatives and goals.
“Elected officials are to protect the lives of Ohio citizens from first spark of life to last breath,” said Paula Westwood Executive Director, Right to Life of Greater Cincinnati. “Barry Sheets will help our organizations equip them to do so effectively and efficiently.”
Molly Smith, President of Cleveland Right to Life said, “We look forward to working with Barry to help us provide 21st century leadership for the next generation through the legislative process.” She echoed Westwood’s goal of the need to protect all human life regardless of age or condition from fertilization till natural death.
Barry is the owner of Principled Policy Consulting, LLC, a for-profit public policy advocacy and consulting business. He is also the founder and director of The Institute for Principled Policy, a non-profit public policy think tank addressing current issues from a biblical perspective.
Barry’s prior experience includes governmental affairs director for Citizens for Community Values, and eight years service in the Ohio General Assembly, where he helped to create Ohio’s abstinence-until-marriage education law and the Ohio Community Defense Act to protect communities from the harms of sexually oriented businesses.
He is married with three children, an elder in his church, and an instructor for the Institute on the Constitution and, with Camp American, a summer camp for teens to learn the biblical basis of America’s founding.
