Friday Night Vigil With Archbishop Schnurr * Closing Program Sunday
March 27, 2015 (Cincinnati, OH) –
From Mary Clark, Cincinnati 40 Days for Life campaign director
Vigils at Planned Parenthood, 2314 Auburn Ave., Clifton
Please come from 7-8pm this Friday, March 27, to pray with Cincinnati Archbishop Dennis Schnurr. It is an honor to have him lead us in prayer and it would show him how much the pro-life community appreciates his presence if we had a large crowd to greet him. We will be praying the Stations of the Cross so if you like to pray them weekly during Lent, you can do so at Planned Parenthood with the Archbishop.
Join us at Planned Parenthood from 3-4pm on March 29 for our Closing Celebration of Thanksgiving for blessings received throughout the Spring campaign. We will recap the campaign, have prayers, song and our guest speaker is Paula Westwood, Executive Director of Greater Cincinnati Right to Life. If you would like to share your experiences during the campaign, you will be welcome to do so. Especially if you have taken part in the campaign at any time, I hope you will come so I can thank you all in person for your dedication. I want to extend a special invitation to all church and group coordinators and individuals who have come to pray weekly or more. I can’t tell you how much I rely on your support.
FINAL OPEN HOURS
We are still in need of people to cover hours of prayer on our closing day, Palm Sunday, March 29. Can you help us have complete coverage on our final day?
From Ana Radcliff, Sharonville 40 Days for Life campaign director
Vigils at Women’s Med Center, 11250 Lebanon Rd., Sharonville
It has been a privilege and a blessing to coordinate the 40 Days for Life Spring Campaign. Once again, I had the opportunity to rededicate myself to the fight against abortion.
I’ve had the opportunity to pray, praise and cry with so many friends, and it was not easy, especially during this past winter, all united in Christ.. Witnessing and proclaiming His Love… Speaking and praying for those who cannot do it themselves… Affirming that All Life is Sacred.
We have had 1 known life saved during this campaign…. but who knows how many more have been affected by our prayers… how many mothers have started their healing process,
accepting God’s forgiveness… We will never know… but we place it all in God’s Hands.. and let him be the Cure giver… We need to continue to be his instruments of Love, Hope and Faith.
We only have two more days for the campaign… There’s still time to come and pray for the end of abortion…. Be part of the solution…
ECUMENICAL WAY OF THE CROSS
We will be having an Ecumenical Way of the Cross walk on Good Friday, April 3, 2015 at 9:15 am…Please join us.
We will meet Outside of St. Michael’s Catholic Church, 11144 Spinner Avenue, Sharonville, OH, Corner of Creek Road and Spinner Avenue) and will walk north to the abortion clinic ( .3 miles)
We want to emphasize that, even though the Way of the Cross is a traditional Catholic observance we look forward to praying for an end to abortion on Good Friday with ALL our Christian brothers and sisters.
And thank you, thank you, for your prayers and support during this campaign. It’s been a humbling, rewarding and faith increasing journey.
See you in the fall.
