Babies and Women Protected
August 28, 2014 (Cincinnati, OH): Good news from pro-life friends across the state — more abortions to cease!
Right to Life of Northeast Ohio reports that Cleveland Surgi-Center, one of Cleveland’s three abortion facilities, has closed and moved to a new location in Warrensville Heights.
According to Ohio Right to Life, Surgi-Center’s new location:
- Is not doing surgical abortions
- Serves as the first appointment center for those considering abortion and sends them to Akron Women’s Medical Group for the abortion
- The first appointment costs $225.
- The Center claims it is not doing RU-486 chemical abortions but are doing injections, what are understood to be methotrexate.
Though chemical abortions will continue at this abortion mill, we share in rejoicing in the significant effect on surgical abortions in Cleveland, currently the method of choice for most abortions in Ohio.
Columbus Complete Healthcare for Women
Columbus Right to Life reports that Complete Healthcare for Women that abortionists Mervyn & Milroy Samuel will no longer be performing abortions after this week. The abortion facility’s Ambulatory Surgical Facility license is to expire August 31st and does not appear to be in renewal.
Greater Columbus Right to Life staff confirmed this information with an employee at Complete Healthcare for Women, and the abortionists’ website no longer indicates “pregnancy termination” in the list of services.
Columbus Right to Life also notes that this change appears to be voluntary on the part of the abortionists, rather than result of enforcement action by the Ohio Department of Health.
We join with our fellow pro-life witnesses in celebrating this wonderful news for the women and babies of central Ohio!
