Not the Exception
May 14, 2013 – Sadly, the Kermit Gosnell scenario is far from the exception in today’s abortion industry. Indeed we have known that for the past forty years.
Since 1973, legalized abortion has slaughtered over 50 million unborn babies in abortion mills that have been operating under little or no oversight by those same government agencies that regulate all other medical facilities.
We knew back then that those who had been working in the back-alleys prior to 1973 would simply hang their shingles on Main street and operate just as they had prior to the Supreme Court Decisions that legalized abortion on demand. That is exactly what Kermit Gosnell did.
Between the Roe and Doe Decisions, procedures that no one wants to face were legalized – procedures that have resulted in yet unborn babies being torn and suctioned, saline-poisoned in utero, or partially born to have a scissors inserted into their necks to deliver them dead. Surely we should not be terrorized by the actions of a Kermit Gosnell. We have watched and tried to stop these actions for nearly a whole lifetime now.
Horrific deaths are an every-day occurrence in abortion mills across our United States. We think it is time for the investigation to begin in earnest to close the killing centers…so we can finally offer life instead of death to the most vulnerable in our society, our own children.
