Be a Part of The Witness
Planned Parenthood, Cincinnati
I was pleased to hear from many of you who responded to the request I passed on to you about the young woman who had an abortion scheduled last Friday. I was assured by you of your prayers that she make the right decision and allow her baby to continue to live. I haven’t heard the outcome but I wanted to thank everyone for all the extra prayers.
Of course we are praying everyday throughout the campaign for all the woman and other family members who think abortion is their only option. But when we know of a particular situation such as this, it helps us to refocus on the reason we put up with all the cold weather and other inconveniences to be present at the abortuary.
The campaign ends on Sunday and I hope all of you can come to our closing day event on Palm Sunday, March 24, from 3:00 to 4:00pm in front of Planned Parenthood. Fr. Cyril Whitaker, SJ, will lead prayers and speak to us. He is a dynamic speaker and very much supports what we are doing to bring about the Culture of Life. There will be time to share your experiences of taking part in the campaign, if you are so inclined. For those of you who would rather not speak at the event but want to share, please email or call me with your comments by Saturday afternoon.
We know that abortions do not stop at Planned Parenthood when the campaign ends so I will be letting you know soon what specific days each week we plan to encourage your continued presence there.

Please join us this Friday, March 22 at 10:00 a.m. – Bishop Binzer will be there to lead us in prayer. All are welcome and needed!
Thanks to the many, many of you who have come to pray at the site of the 40 Days for Life Campaign and to those who are unable to come due to physical constraints or other reasons and pray from where they are! Prayers are being heard.
On the first day of the campaign when people were praying on the grassy area, Cheryl, a sidewalk educator (also praying) told me that two different women went into the abortion mill and came out telling her they changed their minds! Two babies saved and two mothers saved from a lifetime of regret! Praise God!!
People of all walks of life and all different ages have come – from the very young children to those over 80. The weather has definitely not cooperated! Standing out in the cold, snow, rain and even sun is not exactly glamorous.
I would like to share the words of Lauren Muzeka, National 40 Days for Life Campaign. “We trust that we are doing exactly what the Lord wants us to do, even if we cannot see the blessings in store for us. We walk through this Lent, taking up our cross, trusting that the resurrection will come. We love Our Lord, He loves us, and we trust in His goodness.”
