March 13, 2013 – See information below for vigils at Planned Parenthood and Women’s Med Center abortion facilities.
Planned Parenthood, Cincinnati
Most of all, I hope you can join us on the final day of the campaign, Sunday, March 24 from 3:00 to 4:00 pm at the vigil site to give thanks and celebrate the conclusion of our eleventh 40 Days for Life campaign in Cincinnati. Whether you prayed at home or church or covered vigil hours in front of Planned Parenthood on one occasion or many, many times, please come for prayers, song and for a short address by Fr. Cyril Whitaker, SJ.
There will also be time for you to speak about how your participation in the campaign positively affected you or about any interactions you had with Planned Parenthood clients or employees or the public. If you cannot attend on March 24 or you would rather not speak at the closing, send me a written account of any experiences you had so I can share it at the closing and in the final weekly update.
I did receive a notice from the four coordinators of Immaculate Conception Parish’s vigil participation noting the large number of participants they had over their 12-hour vigil on March 3 and a noteworthy happening during the shift of one of those young ladies.
“ICC’s vigil day was a huge success – 103 people showed up! It was cold but not terrible, so we walked many Rosary miles in front of the facility. Planned Parenthood’s janitor came out and prayer with one or our shift leader’s group today, between 9-11am – here’s her story! Thought you’d like it.” “Cool story: the janitor from Planned Parenthood came out and prayed with my group today during one of my hours! 🙂 He only stayed for a few minutes because he had to get back to cleaning, but he told us how great he thought it was that we are always out there! Go us! Keep it up…it’s working! :)”
Let’s pray that this is just the beginning of the story and soon this man realizes he needs to find a new place to work.
